DOES YOUR CHILD QUALIFY FOR NHS TREATMENT?
For under-18s to qualify for free orthodontic treatment they must show obvious need, as opposed to merely a desire for treatment, and need is judged on a scale called the Index of Treatment Need (IOTN).
The index is a fair and effective way of rationing the increasing expenditure by the NHS on orthodontics as braces become ever more popular.
If your child qualifies we will offer NHS treatment, but unfortunately if they do not meet the IOTN criteria we are unable to offer treatment free of charge. However, private treatment is available for children and adults at our sister companies Crocodile and Embrace please click on the links to find out more.
