Martin set up the North Cardiff Orthodontic Centre in 1998 and it has won the continued support of referring dentists in South East Wales. It has been trusted to provide the area’s under-18s with NHS orthodontics.
He qualified in dentistry at the University of Wales College of Medicine in 1990 and worked at the Dental Hospital and at regional hospitals before joining the postgraduate orthodontic masters course in Cardiff in 1994.
Before completing his specialist training in 1997 Martin also worked in general dental practice, a valuable experience that he was able to draw on in order to make the North Cardiff Orthodontic Centre a success.
JUSTIN EVANS – Specialist orthodontist

Justin qualified as a dentist from the University of Wales College of Medicine in 1989. Following hospital posts he gained his Fellowship in Dental Surgery and was accepted on the postgraduate orthodontic masters course in Cardiff in 1993.
After qualifying in 1996, Justin took up a specialist orthodontic senior registrar post in Sydney, Australia.
He was acting head of department and, following a two-year period as an associate dentist in Bristol, returned to Wales and joined the North Cardiff Orthodontic Centre, where he became partner.
JAYNE ROY – Specialist orthodontist

Jayne qualified as a dentist at Edinburgh University in 1994, held senior hospital jobs and passed her Fellowship in Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons Glasgow.
Following her qualification as a specialist orthodontist in 2004 in Cardiff, Jayne worked as a private orthodontist in Adelaide, South Australia before returning to the UK in 2005.
She works at the North Cardiff Orthodontic Centre as an associate and enjoys seeing dramatic results and developing relationships with her patients and seeing how their lives change as treatment progresses.
YVONNE YEUNG – Specialist orthodontist
YVONNE YEUNG BDS, MJDF, PGCert (PDC), MScD, MOrth RCS

Yvonne qualified as a dentist from King’s College London in 2014, where she won multiple dental prizes during her studies, including an international prize in France.
She carried out her Foundation Training in Kent, before relocating to South Wales where she gained clinical experience in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Paediatric Dentistry as a hospital Senior House Officer.
Following this, she completed her Orthodontic training at Cardiff University and qualified in 2020 with Distinction. Throughout her career she has presented dental research work internationally and nationally and has published in the top international scientific journals (including ‘Nature Genetics’ and ‘Developmental Cell’).
Yvonne has a gentle approach and takes great pride in delivering high-quality treatment.

JAIME PAGE – Practice Manager

Since Jaime qualified as a dental nurse in 1999 she has worked predominantly in orthodontics. She enjoys passing on her clinical knowledge to patients with confidence so that they feel secure at each stage of treatment.
Jaime has completed specific training in orthodontics — the orthodontic certificate — which has given her a greater understanding of the job she is doing.
Her favourite part of the job is seeing people transformed and she takes pride in overseeing a team of highly motivated dental nurses that consistently leave patients happy with their visits to the North Cardiff Orthodontic Centre.
